New York—Di Modolo has announced that actress Catherine Zeta-Jones will be the new face of the company, representing all facets of the brand including its new Tempia Timepiece Collection and Di Modolo Haute Couture line.

The debut of the pairing will occur in the November 2007 issues of fashion and lifestyle publications including In Style, Town and Country, Vogue and W.

“I am delighted to be working with Di Modolo,” Zeta-Jones said in a media release. “The collections strike a perfect balance between classic glamour and cutting-edge beauty.”

The Tempia Timepiece Collection ranges in price from $12,500 to $55,000. Created by designer Dino Modolo, the timepieces comes in 18-karat gold with curved dials featuring white mother-of-pearl, Tahitian mother-of-pearl, white lacquer or black lacquer and a flinqué finish.

The faces have applied Roman numerals as well as diamonds mounted on chatons, which are protected by a glare-proof spherical sapphire crystal. The straps are full-grain rolled-edge crocodile leather lined with calfskin and fitted with folding clasps. The watches are covered by a two-year international warranty.

The Di Modolo Haute Couture line breaks into the high-end diamond-jewelry market, born out of a partnership with DD Manufacturing (DDM), a global diamond manufacturer of large and rare stones. The pieces are typically singular, exclusive or limited edition.
