Celebrity photographer O’Neill launches competition

Celebrity photographer Terry O’Neill is inviting entries into a contemporary photography competition, which he is organising for the second year.

Boasting a top prize of £3,000, the contest aims to ‘build a platform for our great new photographers and to bring some recognition of their work to a wider audience,’ says O’Neill.

The contest is seeking submissions of between three and six images for the following categories: reportage, documentary, creative, fashion, wildlife, landscape, portraiture and fine art.

‘The judges will be seeking dynamic and arresting images, which portray a compelling narrative,’ say organisers.

O’Neill will chair a panel of judges that includes photographic curator Paul Wombell.

One of the shortlisted entrants be commissioned for a photography exhibition at Fulham Palace Gallery in London.

The closing date is 10 September.
