Imaging Resource have reviewed the Nikon Coolpix S200 digital camera, which offers 7.1 megapixels, 3x zoom lens (38-114mm), electronic Vibration Reduction to help combat camera shake, ISO 1000 and a 2.5 inch LCD screen. “A streamlined feature set and an equally sleek design will appeal to snapshooters who appreciate simplicity as well as style. However, its feature set may be a little too meager for more advanced users.

Horgen, Switzerland—Signity, a subsidiary of Swarovski, will unveil its GemVisions 2008 trend research at a special press presentation on Sept. 27, during the Hong Kong Jewellery and Watch Fair. The presentation, to be held in the Bauhinia room of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from 3:00 p.m.-4.30 p.m., will be led by Dr. Birgit Rieder, head of the gem creative, synthetic and gemstone business of Swarovski.

The Nikon Coolpix S510 is an 8 megapixel point and shoot camera with a wider than normal angle 3x optical zoom lens (35 - 105mm equivalent). The S510 has optical image stabilization, 2.5 inch LCD screen, 52 megabytes of internal memory and ISO range of 64 to 2000. It will have a retail price of $299.95 USD when it hits stores in September.
